Rather than sculpt an ideal form, I focus on the beauty of everyday. Of the imperfect. Of the common. My forms are reflections of the people in my life—myself, my friends, my family. My sculptures are hand built and colored with underglazes, glazes, and overglazes. Some of them are pit or raku fired.

I have studied sculpture at the Center for the Study of Figurative Ceramics and Sacramento Community College.
